In early 1987, 42 years after the end of World War II , The United States of America was faced with a researcher that was planning and readying for a Third World War from his base in the Antarctic circle, preforming experiments on unlucky souls that crossed his path.
US President, Ronald Reagan hired a group of mercenaries: AVALANCHE, to deal with the researcher and destroy any and all experiments they come across.
However, On November 13th 1987, Things went oh so terribly wrong.
One of AVALANCHE's best scouts and only gunslinger disappeared while fighting off a swarm of failed experiments, dubbed 'monsters'. She wasn't seen again, until a Cryostasis pod was discovered in the ruins of the base.... 25 years later...
"We've finally found you after all these years.... Victoria Valentine."
